Dubai Int’l Film Festival to screen 'The Color of God' director film

Iranian feature film ‘Beyond the Clouds’ directed by Majid Majidi is set to screen at the 14th edition of the Dubai International Film Festival in the UAE.

"It is a story of a brother and sister like 'Children of Heaven', with the difference being that the siblings are grown ups and tackle greater conflicts with the backdrop of the bustling city of Mumbai," Majidi was quoted by media as saying about 'Beyond the Clouds'.

Majidi's first ever Indian film, 'Beyond the Clouds', marks Ishaan Khattar's launch pad in cinema.

The other Iranian representatives at the Dubai event are ‘Azar’ directed by Mohammad Hamzei and ‘No Date, No Signature’ directed by Vahid Jalilvand.

Founded in 2004, the Dubai International Film Festival is one of the film events in the teh ME region.

The 14th edition of the Dubai International Film Festival is slated for December 6-13, 2017.

Majid's award-winning movie 'The Color of God' recently aired on ifilm English channel.
